We are proud to support the 2026 Armed Forces Celebration, Team Redstone, our military community, and the civilians who support our warfighters every day.

Great night at the ballpark with our NAVFOC member organizations, partners, families, and friends.

NAVFOC invites military members, veterans, Gold Star Families, families, community partners, and supporters to register for the 3rd Annual Armed Forces Prayer Breakfast.

This event is **free for all military, veterans, and Gold Star Families**.

⏰ Registration Deadline: NLT June 5, 2026

This annual breakfast brings our community together in gratitude, reflection, and prayer as we honor those who serve, those who have served, and the families who carry the legacy of service and sacrifice.

Advance registration is important so we can provide an accurate headcount to The Summit and ensure we have enough seating, food, and printed programs for everyone attending.

Any excess funds remaining after event costs are paid will go to support Gold Star Families.

NAVFOC extends our thanks to WAAY 31 for covering this year’s Huntsville-Madison County Memorial Day Ceremony & Laying of Wreaths.

This ceremony brought together Gold Star Families, veterans, service members, civic leaders, volunteers, musicians, students, community organizations, and members of the public to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

We are grateful for everyone who helped make this year’s ceremony meaningful and for the community partners who continue to help carry remembrance forward.

🇺🇸 Thank You, North Alabama! 🇺🇸

Today, volunteers from across North Alabama came together at Maple Hill Cemetery, Huntsville Memory Gardens, and Madison Memory Gardens to recover the American flags that were placed on veterans’ graves in observance of Memorial Day.

On behalf of the North Alabama Veterans & Fraternal Organizations Coalition (NAVFOC), thank you to every volunteer, veterans organization, civic group, family member, and community supporter who gave their time this morning. What may seem like a simple task is actually a meaningful act of remembrance and respect for the men and women who served our nation.

These flags represent more than a tradition. Each one stands as a visible reminder that a veteran’s service and sacrifice have not been forgotten.

A special thank you to the cemetery staffs, community partners, and the many organizations that coordinated and supported both the Memorial Day flag placement and today’s recovery effort. As is often the case, many of the same dedicated volunteers who help organize and support veteran events throughout the year were once again there to answer the call.

The flags recovered today will now be carefully counted, inspected, and stored until they are placed again on veterans’ graves prior to Veterans Day later this year.

NAVFOC is continually inspired by the commitment of our community to honor those who served. Whether placing flags, recovering them, participating in ceremonies, or simply taking a moment to remember, your efforts matter.
