Can we celebrate our fundraising wins together, y'all?! Because this fundraising season has been an inspirational one -- connecting with folks across the country (and around the world!) has made us feel less alone in this often isolating work of reproductive care.

We'd like to send out a special thanks to Amy and the LGBTQ Country-Western Dance community of NY for hosting their annual Repro Rodeo to benefit Alabama Cohosh's work in the South. Those amazing folks raised $2035 for our work -- we are so so grateful!!

We have one more big community-supported fundraising event coming up that we can't wait to fill y'all in on -- so stay tuned!

We honor powerful mothers today on Mother's Day -- and we affirm that a key part of honoring moms is giving women the choice to decide if, when, and how to become a mother.

Motherhood should never be forced. It should always be supported, it should always be safe.

At Alabama Cohosh, we believe in providing women with access to emergency contraception and abortion care plans when they aren't ready for motherhood, and we believe in helping women as they become mothers through free breast pumps and free rides to pregnancy care appointments.

Please join us and donate to our work supporting moms in Alabama.

Tonight is the night! Join us on the mat at 6:00 pm for our virtual yoga gathering.

Move, Breathe, Give: will be a gentle, all-levels, virtual yoga class offered as part of our annual fundraiser. This class is a chance to slow down, take a breath, and move your body in a way that feels good while supporting the important work of Alabama Cohosh!

Led by our amazing board member Anne Marie, this all-levels practice will include simple, accessible movement, breath, and relaxation. No yoga experience needed.

Whether you’re on a mat or a comfortable surface at home, you’ll be able to follow along and make the practice your own.

We're so lucky to have the best folks supporting our abortion access work in Alabama from all over the country!!

An amazing group is hosting a REPRO RODEO fundraiser in Brooklyn with proceeds benefitting Alabama Cohosh! If you’re in the NY area, you can support abortion access in Alabama by attending this fun night of line dancing for a good cause!

💃 Dance the night away with two line dance lessons and requests all night long!

💃 Beginners welcome!

Funds raised by this event will benefit our reproductive freedom work in Alabama, including support for abortion care plans, free breast pumps, and midwifery care access.

Celebrate Black Maternal Health Week with us! Alabama Cohosh always seeks to center the experiences of Black women and birthing people in Alabama and to affirm the joy and flourishing each Black woman in Alabama truly deserves. To support the health of Black moms, we offer free breast pumps, Black student midwife scholarships, and free rides to reproductive care appointments.
