Our BAYDA President Dr. Paula Olivier led the Color Guard and was part of the pastoral delegation that welcomed New York Governor Kathy Hochul and First Gentleman William J. Hochul Jr. on Sabbath, August 29, 2026, to the Hebron French-speaking Seventh-day Adventist Church in Brooklyn, New York.

They were met with a delegation of Haitian pastors and administrators representing the Northeastern and Greater New York Conferences led by Dr. Smith Olivier, Pastor, Hebron Church and Assistant to the President of Northeastern, before addressing the congregation.

What a powerful witness of community engagement and civil ministry!
