Autism Awareness Month is April…
but for us, autism is every day.

365 days a year.
Day by day… minute by minute… moment by moment.

This journey doesn’t pause when the month ends.
It doesn’t take breaks.
It lives in our routines, our prayers, our strength, and our love.

Today, I just want to say THANK YOU 💙

To the mothers who carry so much and still show up…
To the fathers who stand strong and protect in ways the world may never see…
To the caregivers who give their time, energy, and heart without hesitation…
To the teachers who choose patience, understanding, and dedication every single day…
To the doctors, nurses, therapists, and specialists who help care for our children with compassion…

Thank you for being a part of our village.

This life isn’t always easy—but it is meaningful.
It is powerful.
And it is filled with a love that runs deeper than words.

Autism is not just something we acknowledge in April…
It’s something we live, learn, and grow through every single day.

And to every parent and caregiver watching this—
I see you. I honor you. I stand with you.

💙 AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH | DAY 1

April is more than a month…
It’s a moment to learn, grow, and show love.

Autism is not a one-size-fits-all experience. It is a spectrum, which means every individual is unique in how they communicate, learn, and experience the world.

🧩 Let’s Learn Together

✔ Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition, not an illness
✔ It affects communication, behavior, and social interaction
✔ Some individuals are verbal, some are nonverbal
✔ Many have incredible strengths, talents, and ways of thinking
✔ Sensory sensitivities (sound, light, touch) are very real
✔ Routine and structure can bring comfort and stability

💡 Did You Know?

✨ 1 in 36 children are diagnosed with autism
✨ Early support can make a big difference
✨ Autism is lifelong—but so is growth, joy, and potential
✨ Every person with autism deserves understanding, respect, and opportunity

💙 A MESSAGE FROM THE HEART

To the parents and caregivers—
You are doing an amazing job, even on the hard days.

To individuals with autism—
You are not broken. You are beautifully made, just as you are.

🌍 HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT

🧩 Be patient
🧩 Be kind
🧩 Learn before judging
🧩 Support families
🧩 Create inclusive spaces

🚨 SNAP & Government Shutdown Update (as of Nov. 3)

A court has ordered the government to issue partial November SNAP payments for most households.

Right now, it’s still unclear when payments will be sent or how much each family will receive — both depend on your state and household size.

Unspoken Love will continue to share updates as we receive them. In the meantime, please check your state’s EBT website or hotline for the most accurate information.

We understand how uncertain times like this can feel. You are not alone — our community stands together in support and care. 💛

This truly brought me to tears.

Thank you so much, Veronica Jones Dobbins, for sharing our information at the Special Olympics. Your support means more than words can express. Starting a nonprofit is not easy but I have faith in God that He will continue to touch the hearts of those who not only want to see a change, but also want to be part of that change.

To you and your beautiful family. Thank you for making a difference in the autism community. Your love, your light, and your action inspire hope and unity. We are not alone in this walk, and because of hearts like yours. I know it will only get better from here.

With gratitude,
Unspoken Love
We’re all a piece of the puzzle

When love lights the room, it speaks louder than words…A huge THANK YOU to my beautiful mother, Sandra Austin, for the glow sticks that lit up the room and our hearts tonight in honor of Autism Awareness.💙🧩💡 From the soft glow in our hands to the powerful glow in our spirits, your thoughtful touch made this moment unforgettable. Watching our members wave those lights with pride and unity reminded us that we are stronger together—and that love truly shines brightest in the dark. This wasn’t just a visual—it was a vibe, a statement, and a celebration of every child, adult, and family walking the autism journey.Thank you, Mama, for always showing up with love, creativity, and purpose. You lit the way—literally and spiritually.
