Egycert Ltd. of Egypt has voluntarily withdrawn from its application for accreditation under the Canada Organic Regime (COR) accreditation program as of June 5, 2026.

Any operations, certification bodies and authorities that relied on this application for accreditation are asked to take note.

IOAS was pleased to participate in the Mid-Year Meetings of Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (Global ACI), held in Prague from April 20–26, with the participation of leaders of global accreditation bodies, relevant institutions, and stakeholders from around the world.
The meetings provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on current developments and challenges facing the accreditation and conformity assessment sector, strengthen international collaboration, and contribute to discussions shaping the future of credible accreditation systems worldwide.

IOAS welcomes the launch of Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (Global ACI), the new single international accreditation organization, unifying the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). This marks an important step toward greater coherence and confidence in the global accreditation system, ensuring one organization, one governance framework and one MRA providing a single, clearer pathway for mutual recognition of accredited assessment results.
