✨THIS WEEKEND: SPIRITS & SHADOWS✨

Step into a world of hauntingly beautiful storytelling through dance as FMBallet opens its season with Spirits & Shadows this weekend!

Featured Performance: Spirit Rising

Discover the story of Nimuué, a prehistoric young woman whose remains were discovered in 1931 near Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. Through original choreography and storytelling by Artistic Director Matthew Gasper, Spirit Rising offers a fictional interpretation inspired by his research, blending history, imagination, and the powerful connection between humanity and the natural world.

A story that reaches beyond time and comes alive through movement. Additional pieces include: Thriller, Witches Table, Devil Goes down in Georgia, Sirens, and Symphony of the Devil.

Dress up for our audience participation costume contest that is held during intermission.
