May is Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month.
For many mothers who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, the emotional impact does not end after the hospital stay, the appointments, or the first few weeks of grief. Loss can affect every part of a mother’s mental and emotional wellbeing, often in ways that are invisible to those around her.
Grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, numbness, fear, and overwhelm can all be part of this journey. And yet so many mothers feel pressure to stay quiet about what they are carrying.
At Haven, we believe struggling does not make you weak, and needing support does not mean you are failing. Your mental health matters. Your grief matters. You matter.
This month, we are holding space for every mother navigating the complex intersection of loss and mental health. You deserve compassion, support, and care, exactly where you are.
💛 You are not alone.
