Prairie Public Education Services has partnered with libraries across northwestern Minnesota to offer families free North Star Nature Packs — check-out kits designed to get kids outside and curious about Minnesota's wild places.

Our Fall pack, Habitat and Harvest, includes a Minnesota-authored children's book, outdoor exploration tools, animal ID cards, and a fall activity packet (this pack even comes with a Maplewood State Park day pass!).

Starting today (September 1), Fall packs are available* to check out at:
