Last month, United Way of Cass-Clay President & CEO Sandi Piatz joined nearly 50 regional business and community leaders in Washington, D.C. as part of The Chamber’s Business Fly-In.

Together with leaders from across the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo region, Sandi met with congressional offices and national policy experts to discuss the issues shaping our communities and future, including workforce development, economic opportunity, and the policies that impact families across our region.

We were also proud to have United Way Board of Trustees member Mike Arntson of Cardinal IG participate in these important conversations, helping represent our region alongside other community leaders.

At United Way, our Bold Goals focus on the most challenging barriers facing our community. By working to prevent hunger and homelessness, prepare children to succeed, and strengthen families, we believe we can help lift more people out of poverty and build a better community for all of us.

That’s why it matters to be at the table—sharing local perspective and ensuring the realities of our community help inform decisions being made at every level.
We’re grateful to The Chamber for creating space for regional leaders to come together and strengthen collaboration across our community.

Because when our region shows up together, our voice is stronger. 💙 United is the way.

It takes a community to make Day of Action happen — and our Change Maker sponsors played a big part in making this year’s event possible.

Through their support, teamwork, and volunteer spirit, Essentia Health, Center for Plastic Surgery, and Goldmark Property Management helped bring community impact to life.
From painting and landscaping to hands-on service projects across our region, their teams joined hundreds of volunteers working to strengthen the places and programs our neighbors count on every day.
