We’re honored to share that Brooke It Forward was recognized as “Non-Profit of the Year” at the inaugural Northshore Community Awards hosted by Arena Collective and organized by Daniel Munn 🏆

This special event brought together leaders, advocates, and changemakers from across the Northshore to celebrate those making a meaningful impact in our community. To see Brooke It Forward & our founder, Marie, recognized among such an inspiring group of individuals was both humbling and encouraging.

At Brooke It Forward, our mission is only possible because of the incredible support of our volunteers, donors, sponsors, partners, and community members who help us celebrate children through our Birthday Box program. This recognition is a reflection of the collective impact we are making together.

Congratulations to our 2026 Brooke Posey Memorial Scholarship recipients, Beija Lopes-Morgan and Maggie Marks🩷🎓

We were honored to recognize these outstanding young women at the Professional Women of St Tammany Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon last week.

Each year, the Brooke Posey Memorial Scholarship is awarded in memory of Brooke, a beloved Mandeville High School senior whose legacy continues to inspire others. Through the generosity of Brooke’s family and friends, these scholarships help young women pursue their educational goals and future aspirations.

We are also grateful to the Professional Women of St. Tammany, an organization that has awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships to women across our community - from high school graduates and college students to women pursuing new careers and advanced degrees.

Congratulations, Beija and Maggie! We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish👏👏
