The St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office is proud to continue partnering with Cribs for Kids® to help prevent infant sleep-related deaths through education, awareness, and support for local families.

🩵 As a reminder, we have upcoming FREE Safe Sleep Classes available for expecting parents and families with newborns. These classes provide important, lifesaving information about safe sleep practices and offer eligible participants a FREE Pack ‘n Play to help ensure every baby has a safe place to sleep.

🩷 If you or someone you know is expecting or has recently welcomed a baby, we encourage you to attend one of our upcoming events and take advantage of this valuable community resource.

💛 Together, we can continue promoting safe sleep, healthy beginnings, and safer futures for families across our community.

🌱 Today was the first episode of the What We Sow Podcast at Studio 7 inside The Reminding!

🌱 This podcast was created to share the stories of some amazing local role models who are sowing seeds of change and making a lasting impact in our community. Thank you so much to Katie Rose McConnell of Lighthouse Strategies for being our first featured guest!

Katie Rose is one of those rare individuals whose passion, creativity, and commitment to serving others shines through in everything she does. She is a mother, entrepreneur, artist, author, fundraiser, and community leader, but more importantly, she is someone who consistently uses her talents to serve God and uplift everyone around her.

Throughout her career, Katie Rose has helped raise more than $150 million for organizations making a difference in the lives of others. She serves on the Hope House Advisory Board, leads Lighthouse Strategies, and recently authored Good Morning Covington .story, with proceeds supporting Children's Advocacy Center-Hope House and its mission to help abused children find justice, hope, and healing.
