Our Small Business Council members recently welcomed Gerald Brooks, Leader Relations Specialist with the U.S. Small Business Administration's Louisiana District Office, for an informative discussion on SBA resources available to small businesses.

With hurricane season underway, Gerald shared valuable information about SBA disaster assistance programs and other services available to help businesses prepare, recover and grow. Members also had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in meaningful conversation.

Thank you to Gerald for sharing his expertise and to the Northshore Community Foundation for hosting this month's meeting.

I-12 is a vital transportation corridor for St. Tammany Parish and the Northshore. We encourage our community to share their input on the future of I-12 by taking the I-12 Corridor Master Plan survey.

The I-12 Corridor Master Plan Online Public Survey is LIVE!
Get involved by visiting the link below to share your experience traveling the I-12 Corridor. Your input is an important part of the I‑12 Corridor Master Plan and helps us better understand the challenges people experience today and what matters most for the future.

We know that traffic congestion is a daily challenge for people traveling along I‑12, which carries roughly 80,000 to 120,000 vehicles each day. In addition, population is expected to increase by 28% in the next 30 years. We are exploring ways to reduce delays and improve the overall travel experience on I-12.

The information gathered through this survey will be used to identify key needs, evaluate potential strategies, and determine next steps for the corridor.
