In July 1867, a little more than two years after the close of the Civil War, a small group of Freemasons petitioned the Grand Lodge of Louisiana to form a Lodge in Covington.

On Saturday, March 7th at 10AM, Covington Lodge will exemplify the Entered Apprentice degree in a special practice for all EA’s. We will be pausing the degree to discuss key points and answer questions, and can replay parts as needed. The idea is that this will be an interactive practice - you can ask questions during the degree, and we will pause and answer them,. We will be performing all of the lectures and optional lectures as well, and plan to serve lunch around 11:45.

This is a practice - you don't need to dress up. Your EA’s can bring their catechisms and come learn something about our first degree. If you are coming, please email [email protected] and give us your headcount so that we prepare enough food.
