Thanks to the good folks st Christ Episcopal Church in Cedar Key, Florida for their book study on THE LAST HOWLELUJAH: TAILS FROM THE TRAIL!

From clergy spouse Mary Prescott:

I know it's a good book when I laugh out loud, an emotional response is elicited or I have to dog ear a page to read to my husband. The Last Howlelujah is all of these things and more!

Thank you for doing what you do.

Mary Prescott

So many church groups have read The Last Howlelujah, The Beer Drinker's Guide to God, and The Gospel According to Sam as fun, entertaining, thought-provoking and inspiring book studies. Thank you for your affirmation. I'll keep writing if you will keep reading!

A new Spirituality for Real People E-Devotion arrives on Monday!

GOT INSPIRATION? Join our 5,000 subscribers to receive Spirituality for Real People, a timely, relevant, and engaging devotion that will increase your faith and your awareness that God loves and cares about you. Our reflections are based on honesty and authenticity. They reflect a kind of spirituality that every person can relate to, regardless of your particular background or tradition. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, our stories will speak to your soul. They might even make you laugh - which is always good for the soul!

This next week's e-news includes "What's Buried in Your Barn?" It's a reflection that ponders what parts of ourselves we are each called to uncover, reclaim and offer to the world. In our "Sam Speaks" section, Sam, the Wounded Healer dog, shares insights on spiritual maturity and spiritual wisdom. We will also share news about a worship service that seeks to expand our loving hearts to become "bigger than Texas!" And we will announce a summer tour that might explain what happens when a priest, a dog, and a musician walk into a bar. Or a church! Or a shelter!

Your soul will thank you! Subscribe here:

Walk with me on a journey toward a spirituality that is Christ-centered, healthy, life-affirming, compassionate, and joyful.

All of you are invited to join author William Miller on Friday, October 3rd (Saint Francis Eve) at 5:45 p.m. at Saint Cecilia's Round Top in Henkel Square for the official book launch of The Gospel According to Sam 20th Anniversary Edition!
