Let's all step up to help Vina Moses Center!

The last time we put out a call to action, we were amazed by how quickly you all stepped up to help. That support helps us keep serving local families without missing a beat... and right now, we have some urgent needs as we gear up for summer.

If you're able to help, we would be incredibly grateful. Donations can be dropped off at Vina Moses Center (968 NW Garfield Avenue, Corvallis, OR) Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm.

Current needs:
• Canned fruit
• Canned soup
• Canned meat (tuna, chicken, salmon, etc.)
• Mac & cheese
• Ramen
• Lunch items (crackers, granola bars, fruit snacks, applesauce, etc.)
• Kleenex
• Toilet Paper

Yesterday evening the five Kiwanis clubs in Corvallis gathered to celebrate another successful year of community service, volunteers, members, and the joy of being part of the Kiwanis family. Kiwanis Sunrisers Club of Corvallis, Kiwanis Noon Club of Corvallis, Corvallis High School Key Club, Crescent Valley High School Key Club, and Circle K Oregon State University shared their individual club accomplishments of the 2025-26 membership year. Whether picking up beach trash, volunteering at an animal shelter, clearing trails, or distributing food boxes or books to promote literacy, or installing safety bars for fragile seniors, Kiwanians of all ages have been on community front lines for decades providing valuable charitable services. Dont let Mothers day slip away without ordering a bouquet for your favorite person who "mothers" you from Expressions in Bloom ! Expressions in Bloom is sharing a generous portion of delivery fees with Kiwanis Sunrisers Club of Corvallis as we will be making Corvallis- area deliveries as a fundraiser!

One of the best things Kiwanis Sunrisers Club of Corvallis does to promote next generation leadership is to support the Circle K Club at OSU . Geared for college students, Circle K provides a circle of friendship, community service, and more. We want to give a shout out to outgoing Circle K President Vicky Chau, the club officers and the community-engaged members who have done so much for the Corvallis community during this 2025-2026 university year. Who knew that busy scholars could find any time in their schedules to volunteer at Vina Moses Center, the Safe Haven Animal Shelter, and Linn Benton Food Share? Circle K members also found the time to volunteer at Kiwanis Noon Club of Corvallis Pancake party, help sell pies during Kiwanis Sunrisers Club of Corvallis' fall pie sales and rolled up their sleeves at Avery Park with Corvallis Parks & Rec! OSU Circle K members helped with upkeep on some of Avery Park trails, laying new gravel and cutting away any plants that were obstructing the walkway.
So here's to the new generation of thinkers, dreamers, and leaders: the 2025-2026 Circle K Club. Thank you for all that you accomplished for the Corvallis Community and yourselves!

Who knew about this great organization??? This morning Kiwanis Sunrisers Club of Corvallis is at Community LendingWorks for the Corvallis Chamber of Commerce's weekly morning mixer. We also asked Lisa and Josh Alley, new owners of Expressions in Bloom , and one of our community partners to join us! We also bumped into Ryan, branch manager of Central Willamette Credit Union, our credit union! What a happy sunny way to start a raining day!

What a morning! Here with Corvallis Chamber of Commerce Morning Greeters -- and presentation is Jackson Street Youth Services. So proud that Corvallis Kiwanis Foundation, because of your generous donations, awarded a grant to this worthy nonprofit organization.

Our Lord(s) of the Pies is at it again! Come see Lord of the Pies do his entertaining street walk and BUY A PIE! 12 noon to 5:30pm December 12th-14th and December 18th -23rd ( or until we run out!) . Look for the yellow Kiwanis Sunrisers Famous Pie Sale trailer in the High Quality parking lot.

We had a fabulous time giving away lots of free books to kids at Open Streets Corvallis today! The turnout was amazing! Thank you Hector Rodriguez for organizing the giveaway.
