SAFE TRAVELS & CONGRATULATIONS to Founding Brother #7, Salvador Miramontes Jr., as you embark on your new journey in Texas!
Here are a few words that were recently shared of the lasting legacy you leave behind on campus:
"As we travel on our journey through life, we meet one or two exceptional human beings who touch us and teach us in different ways. I would like to share with you all that Salvador Miramontes Jr. will be departing Oregon State University for a wonderful opportunity in Texas. He will no doubt be sorely missed by many students and staff who have experienced working with Sal. We are forever grateful to Salvador for helping DCE move forward, and for assisting and providing leadership for the UGC and other Multicultural student organizations.
Sal began at Oregon State University as a student leader and helped to shepherd the growing number of Multicultural Greek organizations on campus. His devotion, energy, passion, and leadership skills helped to move the University forward in addressing the needs of many students. Confidante, Friend, Teacher----Sal has had many different hats here at OSU.
Let us share our love with Salvador----and send him off with all our best wishes for a bright and fulfilling future." - Allison Davis-White Eyes, Ph.D. - Director of Diversity & Cultural Engagement.
