We have an exciting announcement! Together with The Not Portland Skate Crew and Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts we'd love to invite you on a Skate Adventure next Saturday, October 17th! Read this long post for all the info!
Things kick off at 1:00 in front of the PRAx building on OSU campus. Dance or dink around to tunes provided by Le Patin Libre's DJ (a super cool sounding Canadian roller dance troupe).
2:00 pm: After we warm up to some tunes, switch gears and hit the trail! Route is TBD but will likely be beginner friendly to start with an option to go further/faster afterwards, providing the option for fun for more levels of skaters.
Fast forward to 6 pm, there's a happy hour before the 7 Pm performance by Le Patin Libre. Sick Town will be tabling at the happy hour event! Tickets for the dance performance can be purchased online.
And to wrap up the evening, we are invited to the post-show "Roller Disco"! Strap on your skates one more time and join the performers in the Ray Theater. There is no fee for this but RSVPs are encouraged.
These skate meet-ups have been planned in cahoots with The Not-Portland Skate Crew (the brainchild of one of our skaters) and the folks at PRAx, so let's show up and have fun on skates! We can't wait to skate with you all day long ;)
Drop a comment to RSVP or tag a friend to invite them on the adventure!
