September’s General Member Meeting was a special one!

We welcomed new members, heard about upcoming JLC events, learned from Sustainer Jen Peterson about her leadership journey, and prepared teddy bears and handwritten notes for Find the Good Day. 🧸

We’re so excited for all that’s ahead!

This year for International Find the Good Day, the Junior League of Columbus held a comfort bear campaign, collecting enough funds for 50 teddy bears and colorful outfits to make the days brighter of children in our community. Half of the bears were delivered to The Buckeye Ranch and the other half to NC4K, two nonprofits that support children right here in Columbus. The bears included handwritten notes of encouragement from JLC members written at our September general member meeting!

Additionally, earlier this month, JLC members participated in Quick Impact volunteer opportunities with The Buckeye Ranch and NC4K to help them prepare for their upcoming holiday drives.

We have more good news! It’s not too late to join in on finding the good…Be on the lookout for an upcoming giveback night with High Bank Distillery at their Gahanna location on October 14th from 6-9PM. 10% of your check will go to one of our primary projects, Bridging the G.A.P. All are welcome!
