Thank you so much for this feature on our 140th anniversary, The Columbus Dispatch! For 14 decades it has been the greatest honor serving our community with the mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Today, YWCA Columbus continues to address both our community’s greatest challenges, including homelessness and providing high-quality, affordable childcare, as well as dismantling the root causes of poverty and instability.

The moment has changed, but the mission has not. 🧡

YWCA Columbus celebrates 140 years of fighting racism and empowering women through housing and childcare.

When we learn together, we grow together! 🧡

Earlier this month Phyl of our Justice, Equity & Belonging team facilitated a Restorative Practices workshop at the DRUUMM Beloved Gathering. This training centers community, helping you foster an environment of mutual respect, and respond to instances of harm.

If your organization wants to learn restorative ways to build community, and prevent and repair harm reach out to our JEB team today! 🔗 https://buff.ly/O9jGVWi
