In 1913, Holy Family School survived the Great Flood in Franklinton. It remained standing as SR 315 was constructed at its front door.

In 2020, the building made our annual list of Most Endangered Sites and this video was produced. Since then, the food pantry has closed, and the Jubilee Museum has moved to a new location.

Today, the building is once again facing an uncertain future, as an application has been submitted to demolish the historic building.

Columbus Landmarks was proud to partner recently with The Abbey Mausoleum and Gardens and Steelton Glass Company for our Open Studios event highlighting the restoration process and installation of stained glass panels which when completed will return to the Abbey. Guests were introduced to the intricacies of the centuries old technique and shown some of the finished product with a tour of the Abbey. Special thanks to Cole Moffatt and Kate Matheny for sharing their skill sets and advocacy efforts.
