We closed out Women’s Health Month with a bang!

We want to thank everyone who joined our “Hot Flashes & Hard Truths” virtual conversation.

To our incredible panelists and attendees: you showed up authentically, sharing your wisdom, vulnerability, and truth, and helping us create a safe space for real dialogue around Black women’s health and menopause.

As promised, the State of Black Ohio Policy Book is live, a first-of-its-kind guide to the policies shaping the 136th Ohio General Assembly, directly from Black legislators across our state!

For the first time, the OLBCF has produced a comprehensive guide that brings the work happening at the Statehouse straight to you. The State of Black Ohio Policy Book documents the legislative efforts of Ohio’s 22 Black lawmakers, organized by policy area, in clear, accessible language.

This is more than a publication, it’s a resource, a roadmap, and a record of Black legislative leadership in Ohio.

🚨 THE FUTURE IS IN OUR HANDS! 🚨

We cannot afford to sit this one out. Our right to vote is under attack, and every voice matters. If you don’t vote, you lose the power to demand change.

📅 Make a plan. ✊🏽Show up. Vote like your life depends on it, because it does!

This is NOT the time to stay silent. Our communities, our future, and our voices depend on us making it count.

The Supreme Court’s decision in Louisiana v. Callais is a direct setback to fair reperesntation and the hard-fought protection of Black communities.
