Unlocking Futures Unlocking Futures is a non profit organization which offers services to families who are raising a child with an incarcerated parent.

Unlocking Futures is a community outreach program geared towards helping families dealing with the incarceration of a parent. Incarceration not only affects the offender, but their family as well. We understand that the long term effects that an incarceration can have on a family. For some families an incarceration can bring on homelessness, many families worry about how to provide a meal for thei

r child, many parental relationships are broken due to a parent being absent, some kids face behavioral issues, and many parents struggle with childcare. To help alleviate some of the struggles in which an incarceration brings unto families Unlocking Futures plans to offer the following services: Mentoring, Prison Transportation, Food Assistance, Help with accommodations for families who have a parent in the Federal Prison system, After School/Summer Program, and Referral Services for recently released offenders.

Unlocking Futures Annual Holiday Program.

Registration is open now through December 15th.

Send an email to [email protected] for the registration link.

Children must be in attendance at the holiday party to receive wrapped gifts. Children must have an incarcerated parent or a parent whose been released in the last 90 days to qualify.
