The season opens with the longtime audience favorite, Dancers Making Dances, a signature CDT production placing choreography in the hands of the dancers themselves.

For more than a decade, CDT has provided its artists the opportunity to create and produce a full evening of original work. Each choreographer partners with local visual artists and musicians selected through an open call, resulting in a weekend of performances that reflect the creative voices of Columbus artists.

🚨 The last day to sign up for our 2026 CDT Summer Intensive and Jr. Summer Intensive is JUNE 10th🚨

Join us June 15-19th at our Downtown location (592 E. Main Street) for an immersive week of training, artistry, and performance.

Designed for dedicated dancers seeking to elevate their technique and expand their artistic range, the CDT Summer Intensive offers daily classes in Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Contemporary, and Jazz. The week culminates with an informal studio showing in our Black Box Theater, providing dancers the opportunity to share their work and growth with family and friends.

The intensive is open to dancers ages 12-25, including CDT-level students, ITP A-C dancers, and advanced-intermediate to advanced dancers from outside the CDT community.

Dancers at the beginner and intermediate levels are encouraged to explore CDT’s Junior Intensive, taking place the same week.

Spaces are limited-register today and spend your summer training with CDT!
