Using your existing intaglio Solarplate, learn how to add color to your print! Explore and experiement with various color techniques, e.g. chine colle, viscosity, a la poupee, and watercolor, and see how your original images will be transformed into new exciting prints. Demonstrations of each technique will be presented and then the class will give the technique a try. This will be steady-paced, experimental workshop exposing attendees to several color techniques that can be explored in more depth in the future.
Prerequisites:Participants must bring an existing intaglio solarplate & must have taken a previous Solarplate Etching workshop with PRPC and be proficient in the intaglio inking and wiping method
Be Advised: No new intaglio plates will be created in this workshop. You must bring an existing, clean, solarplate.
