The mission of C.G. Women’s Empowerment is to create economic self-sufficiency for women, children, and entire villages in Ethiopia’s Oromia region.

07/21/2026

C.G. Women’s Empowerment (CGWE) continues providing cows to women in need in rural Oromia, Ethiopia through its women’s and children’s empowerment program. Rooted in the Oromo tradition of Dabaree—“giving forward”—this initiative helps families build sustainable livelihoods while strengthening communities through shared support.

These joyful women are pictured at the local cattle market with the cows they selected. Each cow represents hope, opportunity, and a step toward a more secure future for their families.

Thank you to all our supporters for making this life-changing work possible. Your generosity is helping empower women, uplift children, and create lasting change—one family at a time.

Praise the Lord for His abundant blessings! We are deeply grateful for His faithfulness and for each person whose generosity makes this mission possible. Together, we are bringing hope, dignity, and opportunity to families and communities.
