A big hello from Ronan! 🐾💙

Our future therapy dog is still hard at work in training, learning all the skills he’ll need to one day support children, teens, adults, and parents at KinderMourn. We’re so excited to share a few photos of what he’s been up to!

There is still a lot of training ahead before Ronan is ready to officially join us at the KinderMourn house, and we need our community’s help to get him there. Donations to Ronan’s journey help support the training and resources needed to prepare him for this very special role.

And just like that, our last camp healing hearts is officially in the books! 💙

Another camp where so many memories were made, friendships were formed, stories were shared, and moments of connection reminded us just how important it is to have a safe space to grieve, heal, and simply be together.

As we wrap up this year’s camps, we are grateful to Jubilee Farms and every volunteer, caregiver, and camper who joined us this year. Each camp offered a space where children and teens could feel understood, supported, and reminded that they aren’t alone in their grief.

Camp may be over, but the memories, and hope will stay with us long after the last day. ✨ Until next year! 🫶

KinderMourn was honored to be a part of ’ 22nd Annual Butterfly Release, a time for parents to gather together and remember their beloved children. 🦋

Our butterfly garden offered bereaved parents a place to add their child’s name, honoring each child’s memory and the love that remains with them always.

Held each October during Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, this event honors babies gone too soon and brings parents together in remembrance and support. Your child will always be remembered.💜

Grief can feel isolating, especially when your peers are navigating different experiences. KinderMourn’s Young Adult Grief Support Group offers a space for adults ages 18–29 to share, process their grief, and connect with others who understand.💙

Beginning October 15, we’ll meet twice a month on Thursdays through the end of the year.

Meet Ronan, KinderMourn’s Newest Therapy Dog! 🐾💙

We are honored to work alongside Rick The K9 Responder — a trusted trainer and rescuer who works with dogs serving Charlotte Fire, CMPD, UNCC, and other local organizations. We are so grateful for the care and expertise Rick brings as Ronan begins his journey toward becoming a KinderMourn therapy dog.

A therapy dog requires ongoing training, certifications, veterinary care, supplies, and support, and your gift helps us provide Ronan with everything he needs to serve grieving children and parents.

Every gift helps give Ronan the care, training, and support he needs to turn his rescue story into a mission of comfort and healing.

What a beautiful morning of hope, healing, and community. 💙

Yesterday’s Breakfast of Hope was one to remember. With 200 guests gathered together, we were reminded that hope truly happens in community.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for KinderMourn’s Breakfast of Hope! It was an intentional moment shining a light on men’s mental health and grief while creating space for meaningful conversation. A special thank you to our attendees, sponsors, table hosts, board members, KinderMourn families, and especially our incredible panelists.

We are so grateful for every person who showed up, shared in the mission, and helped make the morning meaningful. Together, you reminded our families that they don’t have to carry grief alone.
