30 years of Teeing Off for Hope. ⛳️💚

For three decades, KinderMourn’s Tee Off for Hope Golf Tournament has brought together golfers, families, and community members with one shared purpose: supporting grieving children, parents, and families. This year marks a special milestone as we celebrate our 30th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, October 19th, and the reason we have the KinderMourn house today. We’re so grateful to all the generous hearts who started this inaugural event and made it a lasting tradition. Together, we’ve helped create a community where no family has to navigate grief alone.

We hope that you can join us this fall at Carolina Golf Club as we celebrate 30 years of Teeing Off for Hope—and look ahead to the hope we’ll continue building together. Sponsorship and registration opportunities are available. For more information, click the link in our bio to learn more about ways that you can get involved!

Happy National Nonprofit Day! 💙

Today, we’re proud to celebrate the nonprofits that work every day to strengthen and support our community. At KinderMourn, we are honored to walk alongside bereaved parents, children, and families by providing compassionate grief support, connection, and hope.

Our work is made possible by the generosity of our community—through donations, volunteering, advocacy, and simply helping others learn about our mission.

Thank you for continuing to support KinderMourn and other nonprofits in our community. 🫶

This week’s wish list is highlighting books needed to stock our Kindermourn libraries for grieving children, teens, and parents. The books in our library at the KinderMourn home are a vital resource and every title has been thoughtfully selected to support the healing journey of those we serve. Whether it’s a story that helps a child understand their feelings or a resource that reminds a grieving parent they aren’t alone, these books make a meaningful impact. 📚💙

If you’re looking for a simple way to support KinderMourn this Wednesday, consider purchasing a book from our wishlist. Every donation helps us continue providing these valuable resources and support to bereaved families throughout our community.

Thank you for helping us turn pages into healing. 🫶

We had another beautiful day of camp this weekend at Jubilee Farms with our KinderMourn families! ☀️

Camp Healing Hearts is more than a day of games, crafts, and outdoor activities. It’s a shared space where children who have experienced the death of someone they love can connect with others who truly understand. It’s a place where friendships are formed and children and their caregivers are reminded they don’t have to navigate this grief journey alone. Moments of connection and community can make healing possible.

Thank you to Jubilee Farms and to every camper, caregiver, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this year’s Camp Healing Hearts so incredibly special. We can’t wait to do it again one more time in October! 💙

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteers from Barings and MartelloRe for dedicating their day to giving back to KinderMourn. 💜

From creating a brand new playroom and cleaning our therapy spaces to caring for our outdoor areas, your hard work made a meaningful difference throughout our home. These improvements help ensure that every child, parent, and family who walks through our doors is welcomed into a beautiful space that feels safe, cared for, and comforting.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for giving your time to support bereaved families in such a tangible way. We are so grateful for your generous support and partnership. 🫶✨

Help us give Emma and Caroline a warm KinderMourn welcome! 💜

We are so excited to have these incredible women joining our KinderMourn team. Their passion, experience, and heart for supporting children and families will help us continue providing compassionate grief support to those navigating unimaginable loss.

After interning with us last year, Emma joins our Clinical Team as a full-time program therapist and will work primarily with grieving teens and bereaved parents.

Caroline joins our Team as our new Event & Marketing Coordinator and will work alongside our Community Relations Coordinator, Staci!

Please join us in welcoming Emma and Caroline—we’re grateful to have them as part of the KinderMourn family!

Rain or shine, Camp Healing Hearts is always one for the books!💙

Camp Healing Hearts is one of the many ways we live out our mission, by creating a safe space for grieving children and teens to connect, build friendships, and discover they are not alone. Through meaningful activities, outdoor adventures, and time spent together, campers can honor their loved ones while creating new moments of joy and hope.

We are so grateful to Jubilee Farms and everyone who helped make yesterday possible. We can’t wait to do it again next weekend! ☀️

At KinderMourn, we understand that support groups and community are vital in connection and healing where grief is shared.

Our Infant & Toddler Loss Support Group was created to provide a safe space for parents grieving the loss of an infant or toddler to find understanding, support, and community with others who truly understand. This new group meets on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm for eight consecutive weeks at the KinderMourn house and is co-facilitated by two licensed therapists. It is intentionally created for parents grieving the loss of an infant or toddler (approximately 2 months to 24 months of age) and offers the opportunity to connect with others who have experienced similar losses.

While this group is currently at capacity, we’d love to connect with you regarding future groups. If you have never participated KinderMourn services before, we require a complimentary intake appointment with one of our counselors to help you decide what support feels right for you. For more information or to schedule an intake appointment, please give us a call at 704.376.2580.
