Gordon’s is one of Charlotte, NC’s oldest Barbershops. In 1935, the space was converted from an eating establishment into a barbershop that has served the Cherry neighborhood and beyond ever since. In fact, an original barber's pole that still stands in front of the building has a 1935 inscription.

Gordon’s is Charlotte, NC’s oldest Barbershop. The building at the heart of Cherry’s business district was built in 1930. In 1935, it was converted into a barbershop and has served the Cherry community and beyond ever since.
