Gay Men's Chorus of Charlotte

If you’re looking for a choral family, we have auditions slated for this week on Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you’re interested, send an email to [email protected] so we can get you scheduled.

We now have over 100 prospective singers for the this new season. We’d love to add your name to that list.

Queen City Performing Arts has two main ensembles:

- Gay Men’s Chorus of Charlotte. If you sing tenor, baritone, or bass, we’d love to have you. About half the group is actually gay men, the other half is straight men, women, and trans folks. Their next performance is entitled “Joy!” and it’ll be the first weekend in December.

- The Women’s Chorus of Charlotte. If you sing soprano or alto, this is a wonderful experience. Next show is titled “Into Fire” and will be the first weekend in November.

There are also two ensembles for whom we are producing shows this fall:

- Uptown Sound is our all a ca****la SATB ensemble. Their first performance is “Pick Your Poison” and happens Oct 24 & 25.

- QCSingers, our SATB chamber ensemble under the direction of Donna Hill, premiers on Nov 15.

The **Gay Men’s Chorus of Charlotte** and **Women’s Chorus of Charlotte** are welcoming new singers, and we’d love to hear you!

🎵 **Tenors, Baritones & Basses** — come sing with GMCC!
🎵 **Sopranos & Altos** — come sing with WCC!

**Auditions are August 18 from 6:00–9:00 PM and August 22 from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM.** Choose whichever date works best for you!

And please don't talk yourself out of auditioning. **Auditions are easy!** You don't need to prepare a complicated solo, and you don't need to be a professional singer. We'll hear your voice, get a sense of where you fit, and tell you everything you need to know about singing with us.
