Tomorrow, the runway lights up! ⚡💗

Designer Luis Machicao shares the inspiration behind Lightning, the collection created for this year’s Roaring in Pink runway and inspired by the incredible Survivors & Thrivers who will wear it.

He also reflects on an incredible full-circle moment as dresses from last year’s Roaring in Pink collection recently made their way to Milan Fashion Week, once again worn by Survivors & Thrivers. ✨

We are so grateful to Luis for continuing to share his talent, heart and artistry with Carolina Breast Friends. His dedication to celebrating our Survivors & Thrivers and using fashion to support our mission means more than we can say. 💕

Last year was filled with so much joy, laughter, connection and celebration, and tomorrow, we get to do it all over again.

Roaring in Pink 2026 is going to be as incredible as ever, and we can’t wait to fill the room with our Survivors & Thrivers and this amazing community that continues to show up for The Pink House.

A gift stitched together with love from around the world! 💗🧵

We are incredibly grateful to Scrap Fabric Love and the Scrap Club community for choosing Carolina Breast Friends as the recipient of their 2026 Charity Quilt Project, The Sol Symphony.

These three beautiful quilts—Morning Glow, Bright Meridian and Amber Skies—were created with contributions from 46 people across five countries, turning individual scraps of fabric into something filled with warmth, connection and care.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, each quilt will be gifted to one of our Survivors & Thrivers as a reminder that they are surrounded by a community cheering them on.

Thank you to every person who contributed a block, a stitch and a little piece of love to this incredible project. We can’t wait to pass that love along. 💕🦋

A little preview of what’s coming to the Roaring in Pink Silent Auction… ✨💗

“A Million Dreams” is an original acrylic painting by Cathy Sealy, one of our incredible metastatic Thrivers and an artist who uses her work to make sense of hard things.

Living with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer has deepened Cathy’s desire to create pieces rooted in resilience, hope and joy. Her work is a reminder to keep dreaming, keep creating and never dim your light.

Making this piece even more meaningful, the custom frame was handcrafted by Cathy’s husband, Mark, especially for the painting. 💕
