As we are in the season of Thanksgiving, we hope you will consider joining us in giving thanks by giving back to those who are less fortunate.

Please donate (link below) to provide a new coat to a child in need. Our Club has joined with Charlotte Top-of-the-Week Rotary Club to adopt Billingsville/Cotswold Elementary School in Charlotte. Our goal is to provide a new coat to every student in need. Any donation would be appreciated; it only costs $20 to provide a NEW coat to a student!

We also welcome volunteers to help with coat distribution, so contact us if you are interested in helping.

I supported Charlotte West Rotary & Charlotte Top of the Week Rotary by providing warmth, confidence and hope to children in need through the gift of brand new Operation Warm winter coats. You can, too!

A big thank you to Adam Bronstone, director of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Food Policy Council for enlightening us regarding our community's challenges related to food insecurity--the number of people who dont know where their next meal is coming from, and how access, transportation and affordable housing is compounding the "state of the plate." The council is focused on innovative means to address this national issue.
