Words leave wounds, too.
When people think of abuse, they often picture bruises or physical harm. But abuse isn't always visible.

Constant criticism. Name-calling. Humiliation. Threats. Manipulation. Being told you're not good enough, over and over again.

Words can be used as weapons. They can erode confidence, create fear, and make someone question their worth, reality, and identity.
During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, it's important to remember that abuse takes many forms. Emotional and verbal abuse can be just as damaging as physical violence, leaving lasting effects long after the words are spoken.

Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued in their relationships.
