The Charleston Sternwheel Regatta is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Regatta is one of the largest and most successful events in the tri-state area. The event has provided friends and families with hours of fun and helped generations recapture memories of Regatta past.

While it will take us some time to thank everyone who made the 2026 Charleston Sternwheel Regatta presented by Encova Insurance happen, we wanted to give a special shout out to SERVPRO of North Kanawha and Teays Valley and Mullen Plumbing Heating Cooling.

If you visited the Regatta over the last four days, I'm sure you stopped by one of their cooling stations to catch some air and mist. They were truly a game changer during the Regatta.

While we wish the party could go on forever, we are so lucky to be able to close out the 2026 Charleston Sternwheel Regatta with the WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals Drone Show. WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals has been an amazing supporter of the Regatta for years and we are so thankful, they are once again helping us close out the Regatta with this amazing show.

Show starts at 9:30pm

Best viewing location is on the Boulevard by Hadadd Riverfront Park. Help out close out our celebration of America 250 and the 2026 Charleston Sternwheel Regatta.

Vertical Horizon ir rocking now. Tonic takes the Moses Auto Group Stage at 8:05 and then we have the WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals Drone Show at 9:30.

The Moses Auto Group Stage moves down to Hadadd Riverfront Park to close out the 2026 Charleston Sternwheel Regatta presented by Encova Insurance.

Vertical Horizon takes the stage at 6:45pm followed by Tonic at 8:05pm. Make sure to get down to the levy to get your seat and help us close out our amazing weekend of fun.

One of the most enjoyable...and LOUDEST parts of the 2026 Charleston Sternwheel Regatta is the Regatta Fire Parade. The Parade kicks off at 3pm and runs along Virginia Street from Ohio Ave to Leon Sullivan Way. Find your spot and support our amazing fire responders. This is one of the largest parade lineups we have had in the last five years, so you will not want to miss this one.

Get down to Hadadd Riverfront Park, or your favorite race viewing location, and get yourself ready for the 2026 Sternwheel Board Races. Races start at 1pm, so get down here quickly. There is a screen on the stage at Hadadd where you can watch the action.
