We have just a few reservations left for Night Out at Groundswell tomorrow evening, October 16! ❤️

If you or someone you know would enjoy a special night out but doesn't often have the opportunity, we'd love to welcome you! This evening is all about sharing a wonderful meal, warm hospitality, and time together, completely free of charge.

Call 319-200-2794 as soon as possible to reserve one of the remaining spots!

And a special shout-out to some incredibly talented local chefs who are generously sharing their time and talents to make this evening extra special! Thank you to Chef Chris CC Vurciaga, Chef Mon Sayasit, Chef Anthony Leonard, and others who have stepped up to help. We're so grateful for your generosity and community spirit!

A big thank you to GreatAmerica for inviting us to this week's United Way Partner Agency Fair!

We loved visiting with GreatAmerica team members, sharing a little about the work we do at Matthew 25, and helping everyone learn more about the local organizations supported through their United Way campaign contributions.

It's always wonderful to connect with people who care about making our community a better place!

And we have to say, the donut was a pretty sweet bonus! 🍩❤️

We were grateful to have the CRBT team out volunteering at our Matthew 25 Urban Farm this week! They rolled up their sleeves, jumped right in, and got an incredible amount of work accomplished!

It's amazing what can happen when a great group of people comes together to lend a hand. 💪

Night Out at Groundswell is this Friday, and reservations are filling up fast!

These photos from a past Night Out event remind us just how special an evening around the table can be. Good food, warm hospitality, and the chance to make wonderful memories together!

On Friday, October 16, we're opening our doors for another Night Out at Groundswell, a FREE multi-course dining experience designed especially for individuals and families who might not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy a special restaurant dinner.

Thanks to the generosity of a Matthew 25 supporter, guests can relax, enjoy a delicious meal, and experience the joy of a night out.

Reservations are required, and tables are limited! Priority will be given to those attending for the first time.

On Friday, Oct. 16, we’re hosting a free multi-course dinner for those who may not often have the chance to enjoy a special night out at a nice restaurant.

This evening is designed especially for families and individuals who deserve the joy of gathering around the table without the cost. Thanks to a generous supporter, reservations are required but the meal is at no charge.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make Salem’s September 24–25 Garage Sale a success! From those who donated items to the many volunteers who sorted, organized, set up, worked the sale, and cleaned up afterward, your time and generosity made it all possible. All proceeds benefited Matthew 25 in Cedar Rapids. We are grateful to everyone who shopped, volunteered, and supported the sale. Thank you for another wonderful example of what we can accomplish together at Salem!
