Did you know that you can give to Linn County Trails Association through the Can Shed? Yes! When you take cans and bottles in for redemption tell staff you want the monies to go to our non-profit! A small but consistent way to continue to fund and support trail building in out area!

Heads up!

🌿🚲 Heads up Sac & Fox Trail users!

Our Parks team will be out on the trail today completing a spray application as part of our regular trail maintenance.

The application dries quickly, and the trail is safe to use. If you see our crews working along the trail, please give them a little room to get the job done. 🌳

Thanks for helping us keep the Sac & Fox Trail looking great! 💚

Sometimes you can't take the trail and have to ride on the road. For those times, the City of Cedar Rapids Iowa Government has shared a video with some tips for bicyclists and motorists on how to share the road.

Thanks for the heads up, Ryan!

LightLine UPDATE: Construction crews are getting ready to pour the last stretch of the bridge's single deck. From here, the Alliant Energy LightLine™ will split into two decks, one on each side of the 164’ tower, which will be supported by the next pier. The two decks will then join again at the bridge abutment at the top right of this image.

Thank you to the Shack Tavern for their donation to LCTA. The owners love seeing the cyclists stop by and have food/drink and enjoying the outdoor space that offers. Live Music & great food. They support the trails because they love seeing families enjoying time together outside, cycling, walking and walking their dogs. Stop by the Shack and tell them Thanks for supporting Association!

Thanks to the team at Hometown Restyling for their recent donation to Linn County Trails Association! We appreciate it!...

Thanks to the team at Hometown Restyling for their recent donation to Linn County Trails Association! We appreciate it! Hometown Restyling believes in the trails and the effect it has on the community; particularly for the times the trails are used for fundraising events that benefit local charities such as Alzheimers ride, I Know Jack and Spokes of Hope, among many others. The more miles of trails the more options cyclists have, and the safer they are.
The staff is encouraged to support local charities and when that happens, it also deepens the relationships outside of work. A win-win!
LCTA loves that Hometown Restyling, a trusted home remodeler, contributes to our community in this meaningful way....Thank you Hometown Restyling
