The Tartan Army has gone and got HAGGIS legalised in America 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸

Massachusetts is officially the first US state to welcome our national dish, banned across the States since 1971 over the sheep’s lung, after thousands of Scotland fans turned Boston into a home away from home for the World Cup.

It all kicked off with the “Make Haggis Legal Again” campaign from Simon Howie, and this morning Governor Maura Healey signed it off at the State House herself.

Simon Howie’s reaction: “We knew the Tartan Army would bring the noise, and Massachusetts listened. Hopefully other states - maybe even the federal government - take notice.”

After the b**r shortages, the packed pubs, Fenway full of kilts and now an actual haggis breakthrough, Boston may be realising the Tartan Army are not just tourists.

No Haggis. No Party. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
