The Cedar Boat Club has been notified of an emergency situation downriver of the dam that has caused the Water Department to raise water levels in the Cedar River upstream of the dam. This action is not currently expected to pose any problems for Ellis Harbor. We will post updates if we receive them.

The Cedar Boat Club Spring Auction is just one day away. ~ Started in 1976, 2026 will be their 50th anniversary of shooting a hand-lit show for the city and surrounding areas' enjoyment.

A quick message from Jeffrey Kaas, CBC Systems Admin & Secretary—

Hi all, I have just refreshed and cleaned up our website, https://cedarboatclub.org. If there are any other issues or things that need to be updated, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

For all members, old and new, I have fixed the membership renewal so it no longer shows the deprecated 2025 renewals on other pages. You can now renew or purchase a new membership online if you prefer.

I still plan on adding more historical photos to our "Gallery" page! If you have any cool pictures of past CBC events, please feel free to send them to me. 🙂

A tentative calendar of events for 2026 has also been chosen, minus a couple of events. Updates will be posted to our website ASAP.
We are excited for a great year of growth, including reinstating our signature July 3rd Fireworks Show for the 250th anniversary of the USA and the 50th anniversary of fireworks on the river from the Cedar Boat Club.
