The Rozalia Project for a Clean Ocean Our mission is to clean and protect our ocean through scientific research, outreach, education, and cleanups.

We are based in Vermont, but our home is our 60 ft. sustainable oceanic research vessel called American Promise based in the Gulf of Maine.

We are excited to make our way down to Provincetown, MA next week for “Inspired by the Sea” - a 3-day celebration of ocean conservation, collaborative research, and art

The festivities include a shoreline cleanup, a seal walk, a marine debris trash tally, short-film screenings, a science fair, marine debris art workshops and exhibits, and a sunset sail with resident vessels.

This summer, learn a little something about Lake Champlain while you wait for the Bike Ferry!

Lake Champlain Sea Grant staff or other local partners will be at the end of the Causeway one day a week this summer to share their passion for the lake with visitors waiting in line. Lessons include topics about the lake's natural and cultural history, geology, ecology, its challenges, and recreational and stewardship opportunities.

♻️ Join us on Tuesday, July 21, at 5:00 PM for a community beach cleanup!

Meet at North Beach (near the playground). Trash sorting begins at 6:00 PM.

We’ll provide gloves, buckets, and grabbers, but if you have your own supplies, please bring them along! Visit the link below to sign up.

Don’t forget a water bottle and sunscreen.
