Join Local Motion and Dad Guild for a group bike ride, walk, roll or stroll. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Meet at the Local Motion Trailside Center Bike Rentals, located directly on the Bike Path - and the train station (the train usually takes off around 9:45 am if you want to come early and wave).

Then the route heads south to the Oakledge Park Accessible Playground, where we will stop for fun in the sun! We'll bring tunes and a gazillion bubbles. BYO snack for a picnic.

$10,000 in Streets as Places grants has been awarded to hosts of 24 block parties across Vermont.

Local Motion, in partnership with AARP Vermont, Front Porch Forum, and the Preservation Trust of Vermont, designed Streets as Places to foster community connections, reimagine neighborhood streets as shared public spaces, and spark lasting local change.

When you spend a day out on the Causeway, you see just how many different ways people walk, bike, and roll to the Bike Ferry.

Our crew has a lot of experience in safely moving people and their bikes, trailers, tricycles, wheelchairs, strollers, and even four-person tandems. They pride themselves on making sure that everyone feels welcome aboard.

Congratulations Brattleboro! The town was awarded a bronze-level Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists

Receiving a bronze-level award is a strong validation of the improvements in bicycle infrastructure made by the Town, and efforts put forth by the Brattleboro Coalition for Active Transportation (BCAT).

BCAT, and Walk/Bike Groups in towns across Vermont, are citizen groups advocating for safer streets. Find Walk Bike Advocates Near You at the link in our bio.
