What started as a bike ride has become something so much bigger. Every year, we watch this community come together in ways that still manage to surprise us. Hundreds of people traveling from all over, riding together, showing up for one another, and raising the funds that make so much of this work possible.
And then there are all the people behind the scenes who make a day like this happen. The volunteers. The sponsors. The donors. The families. The friends. The people who have been coming for years, the people who joined us for the first time, and everyone in between, all coming together around the same belief: life is better active.
And we couldn’t do a day like this without the people and partners who believe in that mission too. A huge thank you to our presenting sponsor, Union Mutual, for continuing to show up for this community and helping make the Kelly Brush Ride possible.
There’s no way to properly thank everyone who had a hand in making this year’s ride what it was. But please know how much it means to us.
We get to see where these funds go all year long. We see people get back outside, back on the mountain, back in the water, back on the bike, and back to the things that make them feel like themselves. What a true gift that is.
Saturday was a pretty incredible reminder of why this community exists in the first place and how important this work is.
We’re getting so close to our goal, but we still have just over $200,000 to go. Keep the momentum going, ride remotely, keep up the fundraising, and together we can ensure another amazing year of grants, camps, athlete introductions, and making ski racing safer.
