Our signature red Toys for Kids Toy Barrels are now in-place at numerous locations throughout Vermont. They will be monitored and emptied by individual or service group volunteers. These barrels will be available to receive toy donations through 12/17/24.
Coordinated by the Marine Corps League's (MCL) Donald Cook Detachment, Toys for Kids of Vermont is a 100% volunteer, non-profit, 501-C4 tax-exempt program. It is the largest Christmas toy collection program in Vermont for under privileged children.
The MCL would like to thank you for supporting Toys for Kids of Vermont. Our red toy barrels are used to receive new, unwrapped toys donated by countless members in our community. All toys received are given to local charities who, in turn, distribute these toys to families in need across Vermont.
We encourage folks to shop locally for their toy donations. However, if they prefer to shop for toys on-line, they can have them drop-shipped to:
Toys for Kids of Vt.
c/o Jerihill Ace Hardware, 249 VT-15, Jericho, VT, 05465.
The Jerilhill team will collect and deliver them to our local charities.
Our community's generous donations helped thousands of under privileged children in Vermont have a “Good Toy Day” at Christmas in 2023 and hopefully again in 2024.
Toys for Kids also accepts financial donations which are used to purchase Visa gift cards (in bulk). We donate these cards to various Vermont charitable agencies who provide them to parents of older kids (15-17 yrs.) so they can purchase age-appropriate Christmas gifts. Your generosity will provide Toys for Kids with the necessary financial resources to procure these much needed and appreciated Visa gift cards in time for Christmas 2024.
If individuals or businesses would like to make a financial donation in time for the 2024 Christmas season, there are two options:
1. Mail a check directly to: Toys for Kids, PO Box 4092, Burlington, Vt. 05406
2. Select the Donate tab on our website “toysforkidsvt.com” to donate via PayPal
Please note that all toy and financial donations stay local.
