In this celebratory season of graduations, we dedicate to Tim Garvin, President and CEO, United Way of Central Massachusetts, who was recently awarded a honorary Doctorate of Public Service from the College of the Holy Cross.

We're sending virtual 🌞 this !

As month comes to an end, we honor and appreciate our Ambassadors for their wisdom on wellness and example of self-care.

As we say on repeat...35ONELove begins with self-love, and wellness is the foundation for compassionate, courageous leadership. Project 351's dedication to mental health and wellness is a daily pursuit, as we build a community where every Ambassador and Alumni feels seen, valued, and loved.

The final with WBZ / CBS News Boston inspires gratitude for our friends, partners, and community builders at WBZ! Thank you for your inspiration throughout month and for amplifying mental health and wellness through your broadcast and advocacy.

We're grateful for your lessons on finding balance by investing in the people and things we value most -- starting with ourselves! We learn from your example of prioritizing wellness as an essential part of every day.

As month comes to a close, we deepen our commitment to wellness through self-care, empathy and understanding, and greater knowledge. And by reminding every Ambassador and Alumni, you are seen, valued, and loved!

"You will never do anything in this world without courage.
It is man's greatest quality next to honor."
~ Aristotle

On this Memorial Day, we honor and remember all who have valiantly served and made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedoms. Our debt of gratitude is without measure.

As we reflect on their stories of courage and conviction, we're reminded of President John F. Kennedy's words: "The high courage and the supreme sacrifice of Americans who gave their lives in battle have made it possible for our land to flourish under freedom and justice."

In tribute, we serve with deeper conviction, greater reverence, and enduring gratitude for the freedoms and ideals our Fallen fought to ensure.

We hold their memory and their families in our hearts today and always.

This Memorial Day weekend is in special reverence to our friends and partners at Home Base, a globally recognized leader on the mental health and wellness of our veterans, military, and their families.

We are so fortunate to learn from Home Base's devotion, excellence, and empathy. And honored to support their mission throughout the year with our service and advocacy.

As Retired Brigadier General Jack Hammond, Executive Director of Home Base, reflects, "On this Memorial Day, may we honor the fallen not only with our words, but with our actions β€” by continuing to serve those who carry their legacy forward.”

We are still reflecting with gratitude on last week’s meaningful moment.

Bridgewater State University’s recognition of Carolyn Casey with the Distinguished Service Award β€” presented during commencement ceremonies featuring Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell and university leadership β€” was more than an honor for one individual. It was a celebration of the power of young people, service, compassion, and community.

For more than fifteen years, Carolyn’s leadership has helped thousands of young people across Massachusetts discover their ability to lead with empathy, courage, and purpose.

To every Ambassador, alum, family member, educator, volunteer, and supporter who has helped build and strengthen this movement: this recognition belongs to you, too.

Thank you for believing in the next generation.

It's with WBZ / CBS News Boston! Throughout month, we offer a mid-week pause for reflection from journalists we admire.

Today, we offer the thoughtful guidance and care of Anchors Anna Meiler and Chris Tanaka, and Reporter Samantha Chaney. We are so grateful for the wellness inspiration they provide!

It was a special joy to join these four incredible change makers at last evening's Fitchburg Public Schools Committee meeting!

State Representative Mike Kushmerek, Mayor Samantha Squailia, Superintendent Thompson & the School Committee celebrated ALC Chelsea Bernor's selection as 2027 Service Hero and Susan Orsini's recognition as a life-changing educator with The Starfish Award. Both honors are a reflection of exceptional leadership and enduring goodness.

The team -- including Mary Cringan and Tracy Pappas -- were also celebrated for the impact of Celtics Community Playbook, including the founding of Unified Sports at Fitchburg High!

Inspired by the efforts of Fitchburg's Playbook participants, Unified Sports unites athletes with and without intellectual disabilities, to train alongside each other as teammates and to promote inclusion, acceptance, and respect.

Every school district has its own special magic and inspirational community of educators, learners, and leaders. We are so thankful for the privilege of partnering with each to build a youth-powered movement for change!
