Thank you to everyone who attended our first-annual pitch, hit and run event this past Sunday in Charlestown. A huge shoutout to Ed Brooks who worked hard to get 150 registered players. We’d also like to thank our partners in this event - Kentrell Bailey at RCX sports for supporting us throughout the planning process and provided us with the equipment for the event. Everett Little League and DJ John Marchese from Everett Little league for providing music and Nick Free of East Boston Little League for helping us to promote the event and hit our registration target.

And of course a huge Thank You to all the parents and players who helped make this event such a success.

Save the Date and Register for our Pitch, Hit & Run competition being held in Charlestown at Barry Field on Sunday, June 7th! This event provides boys and girls an opportunity to showcase their baseball and softball skills while earning a chance to compete at the MLB World Series! Just a few years ago one of the PHR competitors from Haverhill won the 7/8U championship at the Finals in LA!

👉 Parents - register your players here - https://pitchhitrun2026.leagueapps.com/events/5008445-charlestown-little-league

A huge thank you to our partners at the Red Sox Foundation for providing this incredible opportunity for our players in Charlestown Little League, Charlestown Girls’ Softball, and our friends in Everett and the North End.

Pitch, Hit & Run is a free skills competition designed to give kids a chance to show off their baseball and softball abilities by competing in three core skills: pitching (accuracy), hitting (distance), and running (speed). It’s a fun, low-pressure way for kids to compete and build confidence. Most importantly, it’s about having fun, trying your best, and celebrating effort and sportsmanship.

Who can participate
Open to players 4-14 (including Tee Ball & Rookie Ball)
Baseball and softball players

What’s at stake
Winners from the 7/8U, 9/10U, 11/12U, and 13/14U divisions (2 winners in each division, 1 from baseball and 1 from softball - 8 total winners) will advance to the Team Championships at Fenway Park on Saturday, August 22nd.
Winners with the highest score in the Team Championships will have a chance to qualify for Finals held at the MLB World Series. Competing in the Finals includes an all-expenses paid trip for the player and one guardian.
