To wrap up Bike Month, we’re excited to share that our new Assembly Square Bike Maps are officially hot off the press! 🚲🗺️

We are excited to introduce our new and improved Assembly Square Bike Map - your guide to safer, smarter cycling throughout Assembly and surrounding neighborhoods. Whether you’re commuting to work, heading to the Orange Line, riding to dinner, or exploring nearby paths, this map is designed to help riders of all experience levels feel more confident navigating the area.

Inside the map, you’ll find:
✔️ Public + private bike racks and bike rooms
✔️ Bluebikes station locations
✔️ MBTA Orange Line and bus connections
✔️ Safer, more comfortable suggested bike routes
✔️ Bike safety tips and riding resources
✔️ Connections to regional paths including the Community Path, Northern Strand Trail, and Charles River Bike Path

See Somerville from a new perspective! 🎨🚲

Join Assembly Connect’s Ride Ready Bike Series for a guided Community Mural Bike Ride from Assembly to East Somerville on Sunday, June 14th from 11 AM – 12:30 PM!

Cruise through the neighborhood, connect with fellow riders, and explore vibrant murals and public art along the way. Local artist Liz LaManche will join the ride to share stories and insights behind the artwork, adding an extra layer of creativity and inspiration to the experience.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Beginner’s “Community Path” Ride yesterday evening 🚲✨ We loved seeing so many riders come together to build confidence, enjoy the outdoors, and explore the community path before wrapping up the evening with a beverage to conclude the ride.

A special thank you to everyone who rode along with us and helped make the ride such a fun and welcoming experience!

Step into the history of Assembly Square with the Assembly Connect & the Somerville Museum

Join us for Jane’s Walk: Assembly Row – A Historical Perspective, a FREE guided walking tour exploring the transformation of this waterfront neighborhood over time.

Beginning at our retail office space, the walk will trace Assembly Square’s evolution from early transportation routes and industrial landmarks to the vibrant mixed-use district we know today. Stops along the way will highlight the historic Ford Assembly Plant, the Mystic River, and the public spaces of Assembly Row.

Presented by the Somerville Museum in collaboration with Assembly Connect as part of May Preservation Month.

🚲 Get ready to ride into spring! 🌸

Join Assembly Connect + Boynton Union Connect for a FREE Spring Bike Workshop & Demo led by on Thursday, May 14 from 12–1 PM at 101 South St (Boynton Yards) - with a virtual option available, too!

This hands-on session will cover everything you need to hit the road with confidence, including how to fix a flat tire and perform basic bike maintenance. Tools and supplies will be provided, and MassBike instructors will be there to share expert tips and guidance.

Getting there from Assembly is easy - hop on the Green Line to Union Square, take the 85 bus from Assembly, or roll up via a nearby Bluebikes station.
