Boston-Harvard Burn Injury Model System (BHBIMS) is a partnership of Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Shriners Hospitals for Children – Boston (Shriners), Spaulding Rehabilitation Network (SRN), Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) and Harvard Medical School (HMS). Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) is part of the Partners Healthcare System (Partners) and is the flagship facility of SRN. S

hriners is an international leader in the field of pediatric burn care and research. BH-BIMS has over 8,200 outpatient burn injury clinic visits each year. Our systematic program of outpatient care devoted to persons with burn injury is guided by the following principles:
• Patient-centered care
• Complication prevention
• Dynamic communication through use of our longitudinal electronic medical record
• Facilitation of burn injury specific medical care and preventative health services
