The Boston Globe editorial board endorses YES on question 4 to adopt Election Day Voter Registration.

"Question 4 may be the most straightforward question on the ballot this year. It is exactly what it seems like: a simple tweak to voting laws that will make voting a little bit easier. It deserves a thumbs up on Nov. 3."

The measure would let citizens register to vote, or update their registration, on Election Day.

Election Day Registration removes an unnecessary barrier between eligible voters and the ballot box. For nearly two decades, MassVOTE has advocated for this common-sense reform because we have seen first-hand that people want to participate in our democracy, but life can get in the way of an arbitrary registration deadline.
