🌸⚙️ **From Flowers to Gears: When Culture Meets Digital Fabrication**

For **Onam 2026**, the team at **Super FabLab Kerala** reimagined the traditional Pookalam as a kinetic installation that opens, closes, and transforms like a flower.

The project brings together **culture, art, mechanical design, engineering, and digital fabrication**—all designed, prototyped, fabricated, and assembled within the Fab Lab community.

It’s a beautiful example of what can happen when technology is rooted in local culture and making becomes a way to reinterpret tradition. 🌸

Join us for Rapid Prototyping: Beyond 3D Printing to discover how desktop laser engraving and printing has grown to complement 3D printing.

FABFest came to life at Fab Hub Kendall! 🌍

What an incredible day as we opened our doors to the Cambridge community and welcomed families, makers, artists, students, and curious minds to celebrate the joy of making together.

From hands-on activities to inspiring conversations and creative discoveries, FABFest showed how innovation becomes even more powerful when it's shared with the public. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this Open Day such a vibrant celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community.
