In this month's edition of Famous in Japan, learn about Keigo Higashino, the Japanese author best known for his mystery novels including The Devotion of Suspect X, who passed away in July.

With over 100 titles to his name, Higashino was one of Japan's top mystery writers. He won numerous major awards for his books, almost twenty of which were adapted into films and television series.

JSB members are invited to gather at Allison Tolman’s booth at the Affordable Air Fair Boston for a discussion about the established artists that the Tokyo-based gallery represents and for the opportunity to see the prints up close.

Allison Tolman is a second-generation art dealer with long-standing ties to Japan and personal relationships since childhood. She oversees the Tolman Collection of Tokyo, established by her parents in 1972, which has grown to be the world’s largest publisher of contemporary Japanese graphic art.
