Last night, we brought students together for our AYMHI Peer Leader Fellowship Program Open House!Β 

Interested students had the opportunity to learn more about the Asian Youth Mental Health Initiative (AYMHI), and ask questions about what it means to be part of this community.

But beyond the program details, the evening was about connection. We shared Asian snacks, enjoyed some pizza, talked about our experiences, and created space for students to connect with one another through the experiences we share.

Rain or shine, our community shows up. 🌧️❀️

Despite the weather, it was wonderful to see so many people at the Boston Little Saigon Night Market this weekend supporting AANHPI-owned small businesses, local artists, performers, and community organizations.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to connect with us. We're grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for one another - and we can't wait to see you at the next one!

Join Mind Hive Roots, a free storytelling workshop for young people from immigrant backgrounds. Whether you're first-, second-, or third-generation, adopted, or have another migration story, we'll explore migration, mental health, identity, and resilience through writing, art, and conversation.

Two days. One community. Endless stories.

With support from the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Advancement, AWFH's Mind Hive Roots is breaking silence and building connections. In a two-day experience, youth ages 16-25 with immigrant backgrounds will explore migration, mental health, identity, and resilience through writing, art, and dialogue.

Day 1 – Sat, June 27, 1-3 PM: Zine-making workshop with payal kumar (youth only)
Day 2 – Sun, June 28, 2-5 PM: Community Showcase (open and free to all)
