One of the things we love about being a part of Boise Sunrise Rotary is the opportunity it gives us to learn about nonprofits in our area and beyond!

There's so many people out there doing the hard work of being a safety net for Idahoans!

Faces of Hope provides a safety net of crisis services to men, women, and children experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, stalking, or human trafficking.
Domestic Violence is a huge part of what they do, but we loved learning more about the other services they offer.

Nations United Soccer is new to us, and we were so intrigued and excited to learn more about this incredible organization.
Nations United started
co-ed soccer team composed of mostly refugee and immigrant students attending schools in the Boise School District, that has grown and has a robust coaching team of volunteers!

Here's a feel-good story to start your week (if you had yesterday off that is!)

There's so much good happening everywhere, all around us, and it's our neighbors and regular Idahoans.

This year, 228 prison inmates enrolled in Lewis-Clark State College courses — up from 40 just three years ago. Federal support has helped fuel the program.

The The Y is a staple of so many of our communities.

When you walk into a Y, you see and experience a snapshot of your community. It's a microcosm of our lives and where we live.

Young, old, in between, men, women, of every background and income and education level busily going about the business of living.

Chatting, learning, laughing, taking care of their bodies, their minds, or maybe recovering from something or getting ready for something big just on the horizon.

And taking care of EACH OTHER.
This is kind of Our Idaho in a building.
