BlueRibbon Coalition BlueRibbon Coalition works to defend your right to access and recreate on public land. Supreme Court, to preserve recreation on public lands.

Since 1987, the BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) has fought to preserve recreation access to America’s public lands. Serving members in all 50 states, BRC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit driven by grassroots energy. We work across all motorized recreation sectors—4×4, ATV, dirt bike, snowmobiling, UTV, watercraft, e‑biking, and more—to ensure every adventure is possible . We’re among the few national groups with a storied history of defending access in court, including all the way to the U.S. Every dollar and membership helps us:

- Investigate and research public land policy & proposals
- Fund lawsuits and legal defense
- Rally grassroots action and cultivate advocates
- Ensure strong representation in rule-making and planning
- Expand trails, dispersed camping, and overall access

One claim has come to dominate the fight over the rescission of the 2001 Roadless Rule: Wildfires are far more likely to start near roads. It is true, it is being repeated everywhere, and it is almost never followed to its logical and obvious next question. A new BlueRibbon Coalition study of nearly 110,000 wildfires asks the next question and finds that the fires which actually escape and grow large are the ones that start deep in the backcountry, far from any road.

A week after our Outdoor ADA trip to D.C., BLM Director Steve Pearce, standing at Lions Park in Moab with the red rock walls of the Colorado River canyon behind him, signed the All Americans Outside Initiative and explained why it was personal. His brother was paralyzed in an accident decades ago and has used a wheelchair for 50 years. Pearce gestured at the cliffs and said he'd want his brother to be able to see this.

But not everyone at the park was celebrating. Several protestors from the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance were there to protest Director Pearce’s leadership. Read more at the link below.
